Defending the Caribbean, SHACMAN is hardcore!
In August 2021, several SHACMAN heavy trucks left the port for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados to cooperate in rescue work.
At that time, the La Soufriere volcano in the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines had erupted several times, with the ash covering almost all the surrounding land and buildings, and at one time spreading to the neighboring country of Barbados, while the tiny particles suspended in the air caused serious harm and pollution to the local residents and the environment.
SHACMAN has been playing an important role in the local mining, logistics, and transportation as well as urban construction industries as the quality card of Made-in-China in the Caribbean. After learning about the disaster, local SHACMAN partners actively cooperated with the government and deployed sprinkler trucks to assist in the rescue work. These SHACMAN sprinkler trucks are equipped with various functions such as water sprinkling, dust suppression, high and low-level spraying, emergency fire fighting, etc., which solve the urgent needs of rescue work in the disaster area and disinfection work in the resettlement sites.
Local officials expressed that SHACMAN extended a helping hand in times of crisis and has helped make incredible progress in the disaster relief work, which further proved that SHACMAN is the most trusted and reliable partner.
